Ewing, Trenton, Eatontown- we can't seem to stay in our area!.....June 27, 2016

NAAAAAAAAAAAAAHNISQUANIA FAVALEEESEEEBADO mmmmmmm WENYAMA wenyama
WENYAMA wenyamaaaaaaaaa. Pink pajamas penguins on the bottom, pink
pajamas penguins on the bottom, pink pajamas penguins on the bottom,
pink pajamas penguins on the bottom---From the day we arrived in the
field, and blinking stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can
ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done. There's far too much
to teach all now, more to find than can ever be found. But with the
sun rolling high, through the smog covered sky. It keeps us going on
the endless round- ITS THE CIRCLE OF MISSION LIFE! *insert random
animal noises, not far off from us obnoxious missionaries'*

Heeeeyyyyyoooooo!
It's been a fantastic week! I mean, it seems like it's lasted a month,
but it's been awesome!
Monday as you know if you read my last email, was the All-Mission
Summer Conference. It was a blast!!!!! I got to see all my old
buddies, hang with my sisters, take random pics, eat good food, and
play softball for 2 hours (man I'm terrible at it now...). Twas
wonderful.
Tuesday was even better! We had a great District meeting with our
super sassy district, and then we had a great lesson with one of
investigators named Allan. He's 27 and insanely philosophical and
literal. He wants proof of everything. This lesson seemed to go a
little smoother than last, and he said he would read the BoM and pray-
but we'll see how this goes. We then went and saw a new investigator
of ours named Adrienne. She actually lives in a different ward, in an
elders area, but she wanted to be taught by the sisters and we're the
closest ones. LUCKY US!!! And we got to go with a new member of our
ward named Stefanie. She's basically the coolest, craziest, awesomest
girl ever. We taught Adrienne twice this week and both times it was
THE most spiritual lessons I've ever had, hands down. She is SO
prepared. She was telling us about her grandson who died of cancer a
couple years ago, of some experiences with her mom, and about how she
hadn't felt happiness and peace since his passing- until we came
along. Everything made sense to her and she's so ready to grasp on to
the gospel! It has been a pure pleasure and joy to teach her, she's a
breath of fresh air after a loooooooooong time. AND SHE CAME TO CHURCH
ON SUNDAY!!!!! And brought 3 of her friends, 2 of which are the
patients that she cares for and have sat in on our lessons! I'm so sad
to have to hand her over to the elders, I've come to love her so much
just within the last week. The Spirit does amazing things.
Wednesday we had an AWESOME lesson with Varsha! We had planned to only
meet with her, but as we were walking she started calling someone on
her phone, and a girl popped up out of nowhere! Her name is Tina, and
her whole family actually converted to Christianity when in India. So
she came too, and we taught the 2 of them the entire Plan of
Salvation. They both were so into it, and the Spirit was so strong!
And we were able to teach them again on Friday!! Funny story there
though, we were planning on meeting with Varsha and Tina again, but
instead we met with Varsha and Sreeja. Now, let me explain this whole
convoluted/awesome story!!! I was on exchange in the end of May, and
S.Shaffer and I knocked on only 2 doors that day. One door was
Sreeja's. We explained the BoM to her and gave one to her, and got her
number and were super excited- but she was always busy so we never
could set up another appt. we kept stopping by her apartment at random
times though, hoping she'd be there. Each time we met someone
different! First we met her cousin, then Varsha, then another friend,
and then this last time we knocked again Varsha answered. She was so
cute too, she was like "Sreeja's not here, but can you teach me? Is
that alright? I want to learn!". Ah! So cool! So we have 1 progressing
investigator and 2 new investigators all from that one apartment!!!
It's soooooooo cool! But yeah, so in our lesson with Varsha on Friday
we taught her the Restoration and she said "Why didn't I know this
before? This is my first time hearing all of this!" And we were able
to explain to her that most people don't know the truth simply because
they don't know where to find it. That rung true to her, and
everything we talked about was jampacked with the Spirit!!!!!! I have
such high hopes for her!!!!!
OH! And on Friday and Saturday I got to go on exchanges with........S.
Bulson!!!! It was SO MUCH FUN! Ah, we were cracking up all day about
all of our inside jokes and funny things we know about each other. It
was glorious. I had so much fun with her. But my mind was tripping the
whole time! Because we were back together, but in my new area/her old
area, and then when we drove to Eatontown to exchange back it was the
2 of us in our area we served in together again. She's so awesome. One
day I want to be as cool as she is. We made plans to hang in Seattle
after all this, and for her to come camping in CO with me. It'll be a
party, I'm so excited!!!! :)
Right now it's a struggle bus with my comp, but that's nothing new.
Same ole same ole that it's been for 2 months now. Hoping it'll get
better.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LETTERS/EMAILS OF TWUE WUV!!!!
Love you all!
Stay Jersey Strong.
